Carmen Wong, DPM
Dr. Wong is a highly accomplished podiatrist who graduated with distinction from the New York Podiatric School of Medicine, where she was recognized as a distinguished member of the Pi Delta Honor Society. She further honed her skills during her residency at Northwell Long Island Jewish Medical Center, one of the top trauma centers in the country. During this time, she gained invaluable experience in managing complex podiatric injuries and became well-versed in handling critical cases.
Dr. Wong also had training at the best pediatric hospital in New York. This focused training allowed her to develop expertise in addressing foot and ankle issues specific to children. Moreover, she served as a podiatric team member for the Fordham University basketball team, where she worked closely with athletes and provided expert care for sports-related foot and ankle conditions. This experience deepened her understanding of sports pathology and the unique challenges faced by athletes.
Dr. Wong possesses comprehensive knowledge and skills in managing diverse podiatric conditions across all age groups. Her exceptional training enables her to approach complex cases with precision and utmost care. She has a particular focus on various foot and ankle issues, including ingrown toenails, bunions, hammertoes, sports medicine pathologies, ankle arthroscopy, foot and ankle trauma, and reconstructive procedures. In addition, her fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese allows her to effectively communicate with and serve a diverse set of patients.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Wong enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking and exploring the scenic trails of the north bay with her dog, Fiddy. She also has a deep passion for tennis, regularly engaging in the sport to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
